After getting to the end of several trail running ultra events and finishing with no energy and not being able to fuel in later sections due to nausea I approached Erin after listening to her speak at an event. Erin through several appointments gave me the confidence and information to increase my carb intake both pre training and during runs, accommodating my specification to do through natural sources rather than gels. We monitored through training sessions setting achievable goals and once reached we did several hydration and sodium sweat testing sessions to ensure we had the balance correct. I have struggled with nutrition and hydration in the ultra distances finding that I was nauseous and lacking energy in the end phases when it really mattered. Erin devised a nutrition plan pre race and during the race that made a massive, massive difference. I have just finished the Kosci Miler and following Erinâs race plan I felt properly fuelled and hydrated throughout and I didnât feel nauseous which meant I could eat towards the end phase which just set me up for a good finish.
Putting together a proper nutrition race plan is really important to having a more enjoyable experience and just trying to wing it is not a good strategy so, get an expert like Erin to help you achieve your goals.

If you are an endurance athlete and you need nutrition advice then you have found it with Erin, canât recommend her enough.
I am a 51 year old type two diabetic who has come to running later in life. So it is with some caution that I approached my first ultra. I got advice from people I met along the way but it was apparent after I did my first one that the fuelling was not what it should be. I didnât really want to experiment too much and do myself some harm. I was concerned about the copious ingestion of sugar and carbs needed for running and I needed to better understand it.
Erin gave me excellent science-based information in an easy to understand format. She was able to go through the various lessons which were scheduled in a logical way. I beat my Heysen 50 time by 25 minutes while carrying a hamstring tendon injury that I did not have the year before. I was able to finish my first Yurrebilla around 30 minutes quicker than my goal time. On both races when I was struggling at times I was able to refer to the plan, think about the information that had been passed on and work through any issues. During Heysen, I had to change what I was consuming a little but I had the information to make change and pick the right foods to supplement based on what I had learned from Erin.
It was like Erin was there giving me advice, I could hear her calm educated voice telling me which food to pick and how much to hydrate. She is an experienced runner who has been there herself, understands the drive we runners have to get it done and has plenty of experience fuelling herself and her clients on runs much longer than the ones I have done.
If you are an endurance athlete and you need nutrition advice then you have found it with Erin, canât recommend her enough.
